In 1998, Quebec was under the spell of Jacques Villeneuve. After being crowned Formula 1 world champion in 1997, Jacques Villeneuve stimulated the population’s interest in automobile racing. It is in this context that Julien Delorme decides to open Karting Saint-Zotique.
As the years went by, the industry lost steam. Many indoor karting centers and outdoor tracks closed their doors. However, Julien Delorme’s business is doing well.
“Our clientele includes many tourists, especially from Ontario,” he says. In addition, they have a clientele of enthusiasts who actively participate in the various karting leagues on site.
For the 2023 season, the team has renewed one course. Regulars will be able to experience a new and exciting course. In addition, special offers and exclusive promotions to celebrate the 25th will be offered during the summer! To find out the details, follow Karting Saint-Zotique’s social media!
The 25th anniversary is a great opportunity for Julien Delorme to reflect on the company’s success, but also to look forward to the future. “I wouldn’t have thought in 1998 that we would still be here in 2023. But people want us to stay. It is a unique activity in the Vaudreuil-Soulanges region and in the surrounding area. Will we still be here in 25 years? That remains to be seen, but I am proud to be able to count on my son-in-law to take over the business,” explains Julien Delorme.
He invites the people of Vaudreuil-Soulanges to discover or rediscover his attraction this summer. It is an activity for the whole family. He also encourages companies to take advantage of the offers of corporate events for fun between colleagues.
